# Payment Links via Dashboard



The Links can be created as a standalone payment link or in bulk through a CSV upload.


#### **1.  Creating a standalone payment Link through EC Dashboard:**

### **Fields Description: -** 



**Amount:**  The amount to be paid by the intended recipient of the link. This is a mandatory field.

**Customer Email ID:**  Email of the customer. This is needed if the link is to be distributed via email.

**Customer Phone Number:**  Phone number of the customer. This is needed if the link is to be sent via SMS.

**Payment Page client ID:** For mapping the payment page that would open up on clicking the link.

**Payment Description:** Optional field for capturing detailed descriptions.


#### **Mandate Payment Options:  (If Mandate is to be created through payment links)**

**Mandate Max Amount:** The maximum amount allowed for the mandate.

**Create Mandate:** For merchants who want to set up mandates, can pass this as either “REQUIRED” or “OPTIONAL”. “REQUIRED” means that the transaction for this order has to be definitely converted to a mandate. “OPTIONAL” means that the final decision of conversion of the transaction lies at the /txns API call with the flag “should_create_mandate”.

**Mandate Frequency:** Defines the frequency of mandate execution, and how often a customer should be charged.

**Start Date:** Start date of mandate.

**End Date:** End date of mandate.

**Customer ID:** It is the ID with which a merchant refers to a customer object.


#### **Advanced Payment Options:**

**Return URL:**  For redirecting the user post-payment completion.

**UDFs-** Optional**** Extra identifiers for passing any additional information

**Payment Option selection:**  To disable any payment option for this particular order.

**Link Expiry:** For setting the custom expiry date for a particular order. The date chosen here would supersede the expiry set in Merchant-level configuration in the Merchant general settings


#### **2. Creating Bulk Payment Links through EC Dashboard:**

You can choose a standard link or a mandate-type link to be created through bulk upload.

**Download Sample CSV: -** download the sample CSV format and fill it with the required information.

**Browse File:** If you have a pre-filled csv file (in the same format mentioned as sample csv) you can upload it.
